We are seeking a smart, energetic, and customer-oriented In-Store Sales Operations Associate to join our retail team. Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Engagement & Sales

Greet customers warmly and understand their needs through active listening.

Assist customers in selecting products, explaining features, benefits, and promotions.

Offer alternative or complementary products to increase basket size (upselling and cross-selling).

Provide a smooth shopping experience by answering product-related queries clearly.

Build rapport with repeat customers and offer a personalized shopping experience.
2. Billing & POS Operations

Handle billing and checkout processes using the POS (Point-of-Sale) system accurately.

Ensure proper cash/card handling, billing receipts, and loyalty points (if applicable).

Resolve billing discrepancies or escalate issues to the store manager when needed.

Maintain accurate transaction records and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
3. Stock Management

Receive new stock, unpack, label, and display merchandise as per visual merchandising guidelines.

Monitor shelf availability and replenish products promptly to avoid stockouts.

Perform regular inventory checks and assist with stock audits as per schedule.

Report stock damage, shrinkage, or discrepancies immediately to the supervisor.
4. Store Maintenance & Visual Merchandising

Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.

Maintain display racks, mannequins, signage, and promotional setups as per brand standards.

Support store team in preparing the store for festive seasons, promotions, and sale periods.

Ensure all products are correctly tagged with pricing, barcodes, and promotional stickers.
5. Back-End Operations

Support the store manager with basic data entry, stock registers, and communication with the warehouse.

Help in inward/outward movement of goods between store and warehouse or other branches.

Assist in unpacking returns, repairs, or customer exchanges with proper documentation.

Coordinate with logistics or courier personnel for online order dispatches (if applicable).
6. Compliance & Reporting

Follow company policies on hygiene, attendance, and store safety protocols.

Ensure that all customer complaints are resolved or escalated appropriately.

Prepare daily sales reports and update customer feedback logs when required.

Participate in store meetings and training sessions regularly.
Key Skills
