Qualification:The candidate should be at least a First class Graduate in Mechanical/ Production/ Tool Engineering from a reputed university / Institute. NET/GATE qualification is required. Post graduation (especially in Production / Tool Engg) and/or industrial experience will be an advantage.
Consolidated salary Rs.25000

Qualification The candidate should be a fresh Ph.D. in Mechanical / Production / Tool Engineering from a reputed University/Institute, with the topic of the thesis in line with the work description given below. The candidate should have had first class career throughout, i.e., at Graduation as well as during post graduation. Those having at least 3 years of industrial / research experience after M. Tech/ME in Mechanical / Production / Tool Engineering from a reputed University/Institute, in the field relevant to the description of the work, may also apply. It is important for the candidate to say how he/she would be able to contribute to the work profile as described below.
The incumbent will be expected to establish constitutive laws, study the material response to different states of stress and strain history, correlate the powder loading with the stress and strain rate, measure viscosity of the mixture at different temperature, powder loading and strain rates, and if possible, delineate combinations of these leading to defects or failure. This will be done from several tests performed on samples made from such mixtures. Finally, the outcome of the work will be validated for a demonstrator axisymmetric part identified for the purpose. The incumbent will also be responsible for fabrication of setups wherever necessary.
