Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation limited (IRCTC) invites application for the position Joint General Manager/ Deputy General Manager
No. Of Post: One 01 Post.
Location: Bengaluru under IRCTC South Zone.(Transferable as per business requirements)
Duration: Three years or till IRCTC is exempted from the rule of immediate abso tion, whichever is earlier.
Term of appointment: Deputation
Service: Officers of Mechanical Branch of Railways or Railway PSUs.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 15600-39100 GP-6600 Level-II (7thCPC) CDA (Eligible for JGM) Rs. 15600-39100 GP-5400 (6thCPC)/ Level-IO (7thCPC) CDA (Eligible for DGM) Pay scale Rs. 80000-220000, IDA pattern (Eligible for E5) - OR- Pay Scale Rs. 70000-200000, IDA pattern (Eligible for E4)
Job description: The officer will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of Golden Chariot and other Tourist Train Rakes by way of carrying out Mechanical & Electrical related works along with processing of Contracts & Tenders as required. The officer will keep a proper Liaison with Railways for this purpose.
Qualification/ Experience: The officer should have degree or diploma in Mechanical engineering with sufficient experience in the respective field either in Railway Workshops or Open line.
Perks & Benefits:
i. Parent Pay Plus Deputation Allowance as applicable and all other perks and allowances applicable as per IRCTC policy.
ii. Medical Allowance (outdoor)-7% of the basic pay if opted for medical facilities of IRCTC & reimbursement of medical expenses for hospitalization.
iii. Uniform fitment allowance-7% of the basic pay. Lease/HRA at prescribed rate etc. For IDA pay scale the above are included in cafeteria approach of 35%.
Age Limit: Maximum Age 55 years as on closing date of vacancy notice.
