Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to oversee and optimise our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor, analyse, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production activities.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth operations.
Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Review and optimize equipment performance; support maintenance planning and upgrades.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Support new product introduction (NPI) by providing technical input and manufacturing feasibility.
Prepare production reports, process documentation, and performance metrics.
Train production staff on equipment use, quality standards, and process improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related engineering field.
Proven experience in a manufacturing or production engineering role.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma (preferred).
Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing process tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
