Job Description
Informatica ETL Developer:
Analysis of the specifications provided by the clients. Preparation of HLD, project plan based on the business functional spec.
Review of ETL Detailed design documents for Mappi
Need to have good understanding on Performance techniques, while developing ETLs
Performing partitioning at session level in Informatica to improve performance of the load.
Need to understand and analyze performance bottle neck that cause performance issue to implement effective solutions.
Provides reviews of deliverables and identifies gaps/areas for improvement.
Provides/reviews detailed technical specifications and ETL documentations required in each phase of the SDLC and complies to internal standards and guidelines.
Identify opportunities to optimize the ETL environment, implement monitoring, quality, and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Provides 24x7 post-implementation supports, responds to problem quickly and provide both short- term and long-term resolutions.
Provides end-users supports including business queries and requests.
Knowledge on Creating HTTP and Webservice Transformations.
Required knowledge on Data warehousing Concepts.
Good documentation skills post development.
Ability to adopt new Tools/Technologies.
