Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work closely with the Information Security team to assist in monitoring and analyze security events and alerts
2. Participate in vulnerability assessments and assist in the remediation of identified vulnerabilities
3. Contribute to the development and delivery of security awareness training programs for employees
4. Assist in the development and maintenance of information security policies and procedures
5. Work with the team to enhance incident response processes and procedures
6. Assist in the evaluation of new security technologies and tool
Contribute to the testing and implementation of security solutions
7. Assist in the administration of user access controls, ensuring proper permissions and least privilege principles
8. Contribute to the development and implementation of access management policies and procedures
9. Work with team members to conduct access reviews and ensure compliance with access control policies
10. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective resolution of security issues
11. Assist in creating educational materials to promote a culture of security within the organization
Skills:
1. Strong interest in information security with a desire to learn and grow in the field
2. Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
3. Familiarity with common security tools and technologies
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
7. Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
8. Basic programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell)
