Infrastructure Engineer (Decommission)

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Proficient knowledge in the following key areas: Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations), Hardware Benchmarking (program management, network management), Design (compliance, security), Network Engineering (planning, provision)
- Knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and basic programming languages or database management systems (Java, PERL, Python)
- Intermediate understanding of LOB technology drivers and their impact on architecture design
- Knowledge of more than one specific infrastructure technology
- Thinks creatively to deliver solutions through continuous improvement
- 8+ years of experience delivering data center infrastructure products and services (server, storage, and networking).
- Experience and exposure of working in an AGILE environment.
- Knowledge of Dev-Ops environments and desire to operate in a firm that is transforming to a Dev-Ops environment.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in managing and coordinating projects and technical resources.
- Intermediate experience with multiple operating systems including Redhat Linux, Microsoft Windows, and VMware ESX.
- Intermediate experience with VMware Virtual Center and VM administration.
- Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program management, network management)
- Knowledge of automation skills like Python, scripting languages.
- Understanding of a production environment
