Job Description
Installation Engineer:
Installation, Testing, and maintenance of signalling systems in Indian railways.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities of the signalling systems.
Good Communication in English, Hindi (preferable)
Should be a good team player who could able to deliver duty with minimum supervision.
Preparation of plans and estimates and safe execution of works in his charge.
Ensuring that all important inspection notes of higher authorities receive prompt
action.
Co-ordination with Engineering and other branches in case of combined works ;
obtaining sanction of Commissioner of Railway Safety for new signalling works or
alterations and additions to the existing signalling installations, either separately for
purely signalling works or jointly with other Departmental officers in the case of
combined works.
