Job Description

Applications are invited for One Research Associate position to work in Quantum Information in a DST funded project in the QuST program.

1. Post Name: Research Associate

2. No. of Post: 01

3. Essential and desirable qualifications: The applicant must have obtained Ph.D. in Physics/Mathematics from a recognized University with expertise in Quantum Information. Those who are about to submit can also apply.

4. Duration : Initial appointment of the candidate will be for 1 year, extendable on annual basis depending on the performance of the candidate, up to two years or upon termination of the project, whichever occurs earlier. The project position is co-terminus with the above project.

5. Fellowship : As per IOP and DST guidelines.

6. Project Description : The main focus of this project will be to study different Quantum Information processing protocols, developing new techniques and understanding the role of genuine Quantum features. Study of Nonlocality and quantification of correlations will be other goals.
