Senior Resident (Psychiatry) Job Position in Institute of Psychiatry & Human Behaviour-Govt. of Goa
No. of Posts : 3
Qualifications : (A) Should posses M.B.B.S. Degree of any University. (B) Should have a Post Graduate Degree Qualifications in the concerned speciality, if such Candidates are not available then candidates with 3 years experience as JUNIOR RESIDENT in the concerned specialty will be considered. If they are not available the Candidates with Post Graduate Diploma in the concerned specialty will be considered for the post.
Pay : Revised pay band PB-3 of Rs.15,600-39,100 carrying grade pay of Rs. 6,600/- plus other allowances admissible as per the rules
Age Limit : upto a maximum of 40 years.

The Institute of Psychiatry & Human Behaviour (IPHB) was established as an independent entity on 8th December 1980, after integration of the Mental Hospital which was functioning under the Directorate of Health Services since July 1957 and the Department of Psychiatry of the Goa Medical College (GMC) functioning since 1968. At the time of integration the IPHB hospital premises were at Altinho, Panaji-Goa.
