Instructor Electrician recruitment in Directorate of Technical Education on contract basis
I. Academic Qualifications: a) 10th Class PASS
II. Technical Qualifications: a) National Trade Certificate or National Apprenticeship Certificate in Electrician Trade. b) National Craft Instructor Training Certificate under Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS) in Electrician trade.
Experience in trade / field after passing technical qualification: a) .Three years for National Trade Certificate / National Apprentice Certificate. The experience should be in the industrial concern Training Institute / Govt. Department. If, a candidate has done Degree / Diploma after passing out NTC/NAC. he should have one / two years experience respectively in the relevant field. In case of private organization. Experience will be verified by the Labour Department in case of private industry and by appropriate authority in case of teaching institutions before issuing the appointment letter.

It does not have its own building and is housed in the PEC University of Technology (near Central Library), Sector 12, Chandigarh. Director Technical Education is functioning as Head of the Department and is the appointing authority for Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ posts of the Directorate and Technical institutions functioning under its control. Director Technical Education has been declared as Nodal Agency for the pensionary benefits and medical bills of the PEC retirees since 2005.
