Position – Junior Assistant Instrumentation Process Engineer
Educational Qualification:
B.tech in Instrumentation Engineering from recognized Technical Board/ Institute with not less than 50% marks.
Diploma (Preferred)
Job description
Ø Exposure to various field equipment's like all type of flow meters, valves, level transmitters, load cell systems, networking and communication, panel wiring, troubleshooting with the help of drawings & instrument manuals etc.
Ø Good exposure in Maintenance and Repair of instruments based on PLC & SCADA system, SQL and network communication.
Ø Sound Knowledge of various sensor used for temperature, pressure, position control, read switches, photo sensor, etc.
Ø Experience in load cell, pressure transmitter - Calibration, replacement and troubleshooting, etc.
Ø Sound Knowledge of I/O Control Wiring and Circuit and drawing reading.
Ø Should have exposure in project Erection, Commissioning, DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ, etc related Instrumentation activities.
Ø Should have experience in ASRS PLC programming, VFD configuration, validation of systems, servo drive, AC-DC drives of different make, PM, BM activities in machines, SOV, TT, PT, LS, troubleshooting of all instrument as mentioned etc.
Ø Electrical Utility maintenance is preferable for candidate.
Ø Sound knowledge of Budget preparation, inventory management, manpower management, SOP documentation, Audit, and Liaison with Govt.
Ø Ensure proper documentation and record keeping in line with GMP & FSSAI requirements.
Ø Work under general supervision, performing routine and regular tasks as per manufacturing processes and associated documents.

Udupi Power Plant is a coal-based thermal power station in Karnataka, India, established in 2008. It is located to the north of Mangalore, west of Belmannu, and just to the northeast of Padubidri in the village of Yeller, Udupi district, close to the Shambavi River, roughly 7 or 8 km from the coast from where the imported coal for the power plant is transported to plant through rail line.
