- Product Development: Assisting in the development and implementation of new insurance products and services.
- Policy Management: Handling policy renewals, cancellations, and modifications.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintaining customer databases, preparing presentations, and coordinating projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Business Development:

Identify and pursue new clients through field visits, cold calling, referrals, and networking.

Promote a range of insurance products (Life/Health/General/Motor/Corporate) as per client needs.

Understand customer requirements and provide tailored insurance solutions.

Meet individual and team sales targets set by the company.
2. Client Relationship Management:

Maintain strong long-term relationships with policyholders and prospects.

Assist clients in understanding policy terms, premium structures, coverage details, exclusions, etc.

Handle renewals, endorsements, policy upgrades, and add-on coverages.
3. Policy Issuance & Documentation:
-
Collect required documents and KYC (Know Your Customer) details for policy issuance.
-
Ensure timely and accurate entry of policy data into the company system.

Follow up with clients for missing information or clarifications.
4. Claims Assistance:
-
Guide clients through the claim process and document submission.
-
Coordinate with the underwriting or claims department for smooth processing.

Update clients regularly about the status of their claims.
5. Reporting and Coordination:
-
Maintain daily records of client interactions, meetings, follow-ups, and closures.

Provide regular sales reports and pipeline updates to the reporting manager.

Coordinate with internal departments like underwriting, customer service, and accounts.
6. Market Awareness & Compliance:

Keep updated with new insurance products, IRDAI guidelines, and competitor offerings.

Ensure ethical conduct and compliance with all regulatory norms.

Educate clients about their rights, responsibilities, and grievance redressal options.
