We are looking for an Integration Associate to join our Integration Services Delivery team. The Integration Associate will be responsible for building, maintaining and supporting a variety of integrations for our clients. As an Integration Associate, your job will include managing a large queue of projects for new interface build and proactively identifying workflow deficiencies. Additionally, the Associate will maintain relationships with interface vendors and the clients. In the performance of these duties, the Integration Associate will actively collaborate with staff from athenahealth’s US-based teams including AM, PM or CSC teams.

You are familiar with Agile product development and strive to operate within a LEAN environment. Experience and knowledge related to Hospital/Ambulatory workflows and Healthcare information systems a plus!

The Team: The Ambulatory Integration Build Team is responsible for building, maintaining and supporting a variety of integrations for our ambulatory clients. Our team focuses on technical requirements, interface assessments, specification design, build to specification design, testing, documentation and technical support. Daily interaction with technical R+D staff, Product, onboarding and client support teams is ongoing and an essential part of the job. Job Responsibilities
  • Build, test and deliver Integrations.
  • Communicate with vendors, clients and athenahealth stakeholders to convey integration status and timelines
  • Manage a high volume of projects and tasks with competing priorities
  • Research and incorporate technical, functional and QA requirements to integration projects
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and process breakdowns; contributing to the design of solutions to the same
  • Analyzing and resolving issues related to connectivity and electronic data interchange
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop novel solutions to operations problems
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including Customer Success Managers, Program Managers, Product, and Development) to ensure ambulatory interface engineering engagements and implementations are successful.
  • Continually reflect on team operations and processes to identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager as necessary to help optimize and expand operational Support.
  • Supporting the training and mentoring of new hires.
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to develop novel solutions to operational problems
  • Ongoing assessment and creation of process improvements oriented toward outcome improvement and reduced overall unit cost.
  • Routine monitoring of existing daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality reports
  • 24*7 shift schedule. 
Typical Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Science, Statistics, management or other quantitative fields
  • 6 to 8 years’ overall experience in Technical Support, Operations, IT/ITES, and/or Healthcare.
  • 2-3 years of project management experience, including management of technical projects with significant cross-functional interdependencies.
  • Strong communication skills and an ability to effectively engage with members of geographically disparate teams in India and the US.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and resolve problems.
  • Excellent logical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic SQL Knowledge.
  • Mastery of MS Excel and the ability and desire to advance one’s technical skill set.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment to get the desired results.
  • Capable of people management and team handling. Should be able to support Manager in performing sub management duties and keeping management updated on team performance.
  • Available to work in night shifts.
