Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Undertake design project from concept to completion
2. Develop initial ideas and acquire key information about potential projects, discuss requirements in detail with clients (the brief), and set project schedules
3. Understand clients' needs and develop design concepts in consultation with the client & reporting manager and establishing final briefs
4. Consider materials and costs according to set budgets and negotiate project fees
5. Conduct feasibility studies for projects
6. Research and gather information and photographs related to the project
7. Assist in producing 'sample boards' for presentation to clients
8. Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models, and schemes, often using computer-aided design (CAD) software
9. Work in a team with other designers
10. Keep up to date with new developments in the design industry
11. Research and follow industry changes, evolutions, and best practices
12. Ensure that the safety and design standards are followed in all the projects undertaken by the company

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 15th Mar'22 and 19th Apr'22
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
Other requirements
1. Must be proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator, or other design programs
2. Must have creativity & imagination
3. Must have an eye for design, including color and good 3D awareness
4. Must have the ability to visualize concepts and explain them to others
5. Must have good drawing skills
6. Must have an interest in changing trends in design
