Key Responsibilities
1. Design Conceptualization & Planning

Understand client requirements, lifestyle preferences, and project objectives.

Create functional yet aesthetic interior solutions for residential, commercial, or retail spaces.
2. AutoCAD Drawings & 3D Visualization

Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for layouts, elevations, sections, and detailed working plans.

Use AutoCAD to develop precise technical documentation for project execution.

Collaborate with 3D visualizers to create realistic renders and presentations for clients.

Maintain design accuracy and ensure drawings comply with project specifications.
3. Material & Color Selection

Research, source, and finalize materials, finishes, and furnishings.

Select appropriate color palettes, lighting fixtures, and décor elements to enhance aesthetics.

Stay updated with trending interior design materials and technologies.

Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality materials within the approved budget.
4. Project Execution & Coordination

Coordinate with architects, contractors, and site engineers for seamless execution.

Conduct periodic site inspections to monitor progress and quality.

Resolve on-site challenges related to design implementation.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and up to quality standards.
5. Client Communication & Presentation

Meet with clients regularly to present design concepts, layouts, and 3D views.

Handle client queries and incorporate feedback into the design process.

Maintain a strong professional relationship with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Budget & Cost Management

Prepare cost estimates for interior projects.

Recommend budget-friendly design solutions without compromising on quality.

Track expenses and ensure the project stays within the approved financial plan.
7. Trend Research & Innovation

Keep track of emerging design trends, materials, and technologies in interior design.

Incorporate sustainable and innovative design solutions into projects.

Experiment with new layouts, patterns, and modern interior concepts.
Required Skills & Competencies
1. Technical Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drawings and detailed layouts.

Familiarity with 3D visualization software like SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or Lumion (preferred).

Strong understanding of space planning, color theory, and lighting design.

Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and materials.
