Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative interior designer specialising in kitchen design to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern kitchen layouts, materials, space optimization and functionality. You will work closely with clients to design stylish, practical and customized kitchen spaces that align with their needs and preferences.
Experience required - at least one year experience
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Planning
- Meet with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgets.
- Create concept designs, mood boards, and sketches to visualize ideas.
- Develop 2D/3D models and layouts using AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or other design software.
Material & Furniture Selection
- Recommend furniture, lighting, fabrics, flooring, and décor based on themes and budgets.
- Source materials and collaborate with vendors and suppliers.
- Ensure quality and durability in material selection.
Project Management & Execution
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and site engineers to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor the progress of renovations, fit-outs, and interior installations.
- Ensure project completion within deadlines and budget.
Client Consultation & Presentations
- Present design concepts and modifications for client approval.
- Address client feedback and revise designs as needed.
- Provide cost estimates and timelines for interior projects.
Compliance & Industry Standards
- Ensure adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
- Stay updated with interior design trends and innovations.
