Job Description
1. Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
2. Technical Skills
AutoCAD:
Ability to create accurate 2D floor plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
Knowledge of layers, dimensioning, detailing, and CAD standards.
SketchUp:
Proficiency in creating 3D massing, concept models, and interior layouts.
Ability to use extensions and rendering plugins (V-Ray, Enscape preferred).
3ds Max:
Strong modeling and texturing skills for high-quality 3D visualization.
Ability to produce realistic interior renders with proper lighting and materials.
Knowledge of rendering engines like V-Ray / Corona is a plus.
3. Design & Creativity
Strong sense of aesthetics, colour combinations, materials, textures, and space planning.
Ability to create mood boards, concept presentations, and design themes.
4. Site & Project Knowledge
Understanding of on-site measurements, materials, carpentry, electrical & plumbing basics.
Ability to coordinate with contractors and execution teams.
Experience working with vendors, BOQs, and material selections.
5. Communication & Client Handling
Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into design solutions.
Strong presentation skills for explaining drawings and 3D designs to clients.
Good spoken and written communication.
6. Software & Additional Skills
Knowledge of Photoshop / Canva for presentations (optional but preferred).
Basic knowledge of MS Excel for BOQs and costing.
7. Experience
Minimum 1–3 years experience in interior design (or internships for freshers).
Portfolio showcasing previous work in residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
