Job Description

We are hiring an entry-level Interior Designer with a Degree or Diploma in Interior Designing. Candidates should have basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and MS Office, along with an understanding of layout planning and furniture detailing. Good communication skills in English and Hindi are essential, as the role involves client interaction and supporting showroom sales.

Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience are welcome to apply. Preferred age group is 26 to 33 years. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about design and looking to grow in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Walk-in interviews will be held from May 4 to 5 and May 7 to 8, between 1:30 PM and 5:30 PM. Applicants should bring their resume along with a passport-size photograph.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Development Support:

Assist in conceptualizing design ideas based on client briefs and project requirements.
Contribute to space planning, layout preparation, and mood board creation.
Support the selection of materials, furniture, lighting, colors, and finishes.

2. Drafting and Visualization:

Create detailed 2D drawings and floor plans using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp).
Assist in developing 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations for client meetings.
Prepare sample boards and digital presentations under supervision.

3. Client and Team Interaction:

Attend client meetings and site visits with senior designers or project leads.
Take notes and document client preferences and project specifications.
Communicate design ideas and revisions clearly and professionally.

4. Material and Vendor Coordination:

Research and source furniture, fabrics, and fixtures from vendors or catalogs.
Maintain sample libraries and material databases.
Coordinate with suppliers for sample requests, pricing, and availability.

5. Project Administration:

Support in preparing and maintaining project documentation, schedules, and design briefs.
Assist in tracking timelines and coordinating deliveries or on-site requirements.
Ensure accurate filing of drawings, approvals, and client feedback.

6. Learning and Development:

Stay updated with current design trends, industry standards, and materials.
Participate in workshops, training programs, or vendor presentations.
Be open to feedback and actively contribute to design brainstorming sessions.
