State Bank of India (SBI) invites application for the position Internal Ombudsman

No of Post: 02

Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline.

Nature of engagement: Contractual (3 years)

Qualification: The applicant should either be a retired or serving officer not below the rank of Deputy General Manager or equivalent of any Scheduled Commercial Bank / Financial sector regulatory body, other than State Bank of India or e-ABs. The applicant should not have worked / be working in any capacity in State Bank of India or e-ABs.-The applicant, if not a serving officer, should have superannuated or have taken voluntary retirement at not less than the rank of Deputy General Manager of Scheduled Commercial Bank other than SBI or e-ABs.

Experience (As on 01.12.2021): The applicant should possess necessary skills and experience of minimum seven (07) years of working in areas such as Banking, regulation, supervision, payment and settlement systems and/ or consumer protection.

Job Profile : The official is required to act as the Internal Ombudsman of the Bank to strengthen the grievances redressal mechanism and to reduce the complaints to Banking Ombudsman. He/ she shall be the focal point for Internal Grievances Redressal System of the Bank.

Period of contract : The tenure of the Internal Ombudsman shall be a fixed term of three years. The Internal Ombudsman shall not be eligible for re-appointment or further extension of term in the same bank.

Remuneration: 
a) Compensation: Annual CTC, payable on monthly basis @1/12 of the annual CTC (without any prejudice to his / her pension in other bank, if any. Income tax / any other tax liabilities will be deducted at source as per I-Tax rules. (The contract period is Three years only. No further extension is permitted).
b) 1 st year of contract: Rs.39.00 la
c) 2 nd year of contract: Rs.39.00 la
d) 3 rd year of contract:  Rs.39.00 la

Age Limit: Max. Age (as on 01.12.2021): Below 65 years of age.

Application Fees: Application fees (Non-refundable) is 750/- ( Seven Hundred and Fifty only) for General and OBC candidates and -NIL- (-NIL-) for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.
