Key Responsibilities:

Handling Patient and Provider Calls:

Manage incoming and outgoing voice calls related to healthcare services, including appointment scheduling, billing inquiries, insurance verification, and claim status updates.

Speak directly with patients, doctors’ offices, hospitals, or insurance companies based in countries like the U.S. or U.K.

Deliver high levels of customer service by resolving queries, providing accurate information, and maintaining a courteous tone at all times.

Medical Billing and Claims Support:

Assist in processing healthcare claims by gathering required information over the phone.
-
Verify insurance coverage, benefits, eligibility, and claim submissions.
-
Follow up on pending claims with insurance companies and update records accordingly.

Record claim denials, escalate complex issues, and document the outcome of each call.

Appointment Coordination and Follow-ups:

Schedule, confirm, or reschedule medical appointments as requested by patients or healthcare providers.

Make reminder calls and ensure patients have all the necessary instructions and information before their appointments.

Follow up on missed appointments and document reasons.

Data Entry and Documentation:

Accurately enter information gathered during calls into CRM or healthcare software systems.

Maintain up-to-date records of patient or insurance interactions as per HIPAA or international data privacy standards.

Ensure data integrity and confidentiality at all times.

Compliance and Quality Assurance:

Adhere to healthcare industry regulations, client guidelines, and company protocols during all interactions.

Follow scripts and call flow processes where applicable.

Participate in quality audits and apply feedback to improve performance.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) if serving U.S.-based clients.

Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve complex cases.
