Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Order Picking and Fulfillment:

Pick items from shelves, racks, bins, or storage areas according to the order slip or pick list.

Use handheld scanners, RFID devices, or warehouse management systems (WMS) to locate items.

Ensure accuracy in picking the correct item, size, quantity, and product code.
-
Transport selected items to the packing or dispatch area using trolleys or carts.
2. Inventory Accuracy:
-
Record picked items in the system and update stock levels as required.
-
Notify supervisors of any discrepancies, missing items, or inventory errors.
-
Assist in regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.

Replenish shelves and storage bins as instructed by the inventory team.
3. Labeling and Packing Support:
-
Label items correctly using printed tags or stickers to indicate product codes or batch numbers.
-
Support the packing team by ensuring items are placed in the correct area for further processing.

Help in basic packaging when required (e.g., sealing boxes or bundling items).
4. Safety and Housekeeping:
-
Follow safety guidelines while operating equipment or handling materials.
-
Use proper lifting techniques and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as per company policy.

Keep the picking area clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Immediately report unsafe practices or broken equipment to the supervisor.
5. Communication and Coordination:
-
Work closely with warehouse associates, supervisors, and inventory clerks to meet dispatch timelines.

Communicate clearly regarding delays, shortages, or product issues.

Support team goals and contribute to overall warehouse performance.
