Job Description
- XRE is seeking a highly analytical, self-motivated, and intellectually curious analyst, to join us in our quest to develop a user-friendly, data-driven Commercial Real Estate transaction platform.
- The brokerage will enable sellers to achieve the highest value, by streamlining their offerings to fit specific investor criteria; consequently creating a more transparent and efficient market eco-system.
- The analyst will work closely with the investment sales team to gather transaction related data, insights from active market participants, research trends in technology, global financial markets; and leverage this information to create comprehensive outlook reports for XRE's clients.
The Analyst will enable the right candidate to:
- Gain exposure to a wide range of Real Estate transactions; and transaction processes
- Learn about various Real Estate Asset classes, investment types
- Acquire a universal understanding about the landscape of NYC Real Estate Market
- Learn and understand the spectrum of market participants who contribute to the dynamism of the industry.
The Analyst will also partake in the following tasks and have the following responsibilities:
- Carefully monitor current transaction data and compile accurate assumptions to apply to financial models
- Assist with ad-hoc written and research assignments
- Assist sales team with research and maintenance of client database
- Assist in the management of social media accounts
- Recognize trends and contribute to XRE's strategy and growth initiatives
- Assist in creating proposals and detailed offering memorandums to effectively market product offering(s)
Qualifications:
- Desire to gain fundamental understanding of the NYC Commercial Real Estate market
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to adapt and perform tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Master’s degree in one of the following areas is PREFFERED: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, Real Estate, Math
