About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work on investment analysis - supporting the due diligence process to analyze investment opportunities, understand the business in-depth, articulate and present the thesis
2. Develop sector insights - mapping the sector of focus, understanding and prioritizing various business models, keeping track of key developments, and identifying potential investment opportunities
3. Work on transaction collaterals - working on live transactions with senior management, prepare pitch books, industry overview, detailed company profiles, management biographies, the evolution of industry/peers valuation multiples, detailed financial models
4. Work on transaction analysis - working on comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, industry research, company/M&A screening
5. Work on investor relationship - independently connect with the investor community and develop long-term working relationships to showcase relevant opportunities

Other requirements

1. Should have an MBA from a good institute/chartered accountant/engineering graduate with CFA or equivalent certifications

2. Having prior experience in a start-up ecosystem shall be preferred

3. Should have a strong interest in investment banking and strategic advisory

4. Should have a strong academic background and financial knowledge (accounting, corporate finance, and company valuation)

5. Should have technical bent of mind and awareness & curiosity of technology innovations vis- -vis architecture & business models
