IT Coordinator/ Computer Programmer Jobs recruitment in Dr. B. Borooah Cancer Institute on contractual
Eligibility : (a) For the post of IT Coordinator B.E. / B.Tech in computer science OR equivalent with minimum 50% marks from Govt. recognised university. Candidate should have minimum one year hands on work experience in configuration trouble shooting f maintaining. managing PC's. servers. various network equipments like 1.2 and IS switches, routers, desktop (windows) OS maintaining leased line connectivity etc. Skill on operation and administration of IBM i-series server is advantageous.
(b) For the post of Computer Programmer f B.Tech in computer science OR MCA with minimum 50% marks from Govt. recognized university. Candidate should have minimum one year programming experience in client server environment using visual basic / NET technology in developing / maintenance of software. Candidate must also have good practical knowledge of databases. Web Technology / Web development tools, skills on ASE VB script. Java script. AV400. DB2 etc. is advantageous. The candidates having prior relevant experience of working in Healthcare Industry will be preferred for both the posts.

Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah (4th September 1893 - 25th September 1956) was a great physician, freedom fighter and philanthropist of Assam. In 1958 at a public meeting in Guwahati, a decision was taken to set up a cancer hospital at Guwahati to commemorate the memory of Dr. Bhubaneswar Borooah.
