Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
-
Provide first-level and second-level support for hardware, software, printers, and network-related issues.

Troubleshoot problems reported by users and resolve them promptly to minimize downtime.

Install, configure, and update operating systems, applications, and drivers on user workstations.

Respond to service requests and incidents via phone, email, or ticketing system.

Network and System Administration:

Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet connectivity.

Configure and manage switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
-
Ensure optimal performance and security of servers, network devices, and IT systems.

Perform routine maintenance, system backups, and data recovery operations.

System Setup and Configuration:
-
Set up new users' accounts and configure hardware/software according to company policies.
-
Maintain and organize IT inventory, including laptops, desktops, peripherals, and licenses.
-
Manage email systems, domain controllers, and Active Directory environments.

Oversee installation and configuration of software applications required by various departments.

IT Security and Compliance:
-
Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
-
Ensure antivirus, firewalls, and security patches are up to date on all systems.

Monitor for unauthorized access, unusual activity, or data breaches.

Support compliance with IT policies, data protection regulations, and internal security standards.

Vendor and Asset Management:

Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for procurement, support, and maintenance.

Manage IT procurement, renewals of software licenses, and hardware upgrades.

Maintain records of IT assets, software licenses, and service agreements.

Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions.

User Training and Documentation:

Provide training and support to employees on IT tools, systems, and best practices.

Prepare and maintain IT documentation such as user guides, network diagrams, and SOPs.

Document IT processes, incidents, and resolutions for future reference and analysis.

Promote IT awareness and cybersecurity practices within the organization.

Project Support and Implementation:

Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects such as software rollouts, migrations, and infrastructure upgrades.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IT improvements that support business operations.

Conduct testing and quality assurance of new systems and updates before deployment.

Provide post-implementation support and monitor system performance.
