Job Description
About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Work on hardware/software issue troubleshooting for laptop/desktop/servers
2. Work on maintaining IT-related processes for reporting
3. Work on LAN/WAN/Wifi/RF/other network management
4. Work on coordinating with IT-related vendors
5. Work on the installation of different OS Ubuntu, Red Hat, windows servers, and desktop OS
6. Work on monitoring the health of servers
7. Work on providing on-call support to resolve incidents within SLA guidelines
8. Work on monitoring system performance, issues like memory, CPU, and disk utilization
9. Create new users, groups, and set up home directories
10. Work on setting up new environments
11. Work on patching server to up to date version to remove vulnerabilities
12. Work on responding to alerts in a timely fashion as per the pre-defined priority levels and SLAs
13. Work on understanding, analyzing the root cause of an alert, and solving it
