Job Description

Establishes and maintains network performance.
Builds net configurations and connections.
Troubleshoots network problems.
IP address auditing.
Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration and directing system installation.
Level 1 support (remote/onsite), maintenance and resolution of hardware and software issues related to end-user desktops/laptops, servers, printers and other network issues within the organisation.
Vendor escalation for desktops/laptop hardware purchases, repairs or software troubleshooting.
Maintain and review IT documentation, covering infrastructure, inventory, service subscriptions and contracts.
Support, review & liaise with end users on the implementation of an IT governance framework, policies, systems, infrastructure to ensure compliance and alignment to guidelines.
Perform and participate in capacity planning, redundancy planning and execution of Disaster Recovery Plan.
Provide input for annual IT requirements planning and budgeting.
Involve and conduct regular system audit for IT effectiveness, efficiency and security.
Analyse & evaluate system & users’ requirements and make recommendations for IT upgrades.
Proactively propose suggestions to improve IT systems and operations.
Proactively identify acquisition opportunities of new innovations for the organisation.
Assist to drive digital transformation initiatives in line with strategic objectives of the organisation.
As part of the digital transformation initiative, work with external service providers to implement new applications, projects or upgrades.
Liaise with multiple vendors and stakeholders in resolving problems in the rolling out of new applications and ensuring that project delivery is on time.
