Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Hardware Service Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of devices, including laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile phones. The role requires interacting with customers, understanding their concerns, and providing the best possible solutions. The technician will be responsible for servicing devices both at the service center and at client locations, ensuring high-quality support and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues in laptops, desktops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Interact with customers to understand the problems they are facing and provide effective solutions.
- Perform hardware replacements, repairs, and upgrades as required.
- Install, configure, and update software and drivers.
- Provide on-site support at client locations when needed.
- Maintain service records and provide reports on repairs and solutions.
- Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction by explaining technical issues in a simple manner.
- Handle warranty claims and liaise with vendors if required.
- Follow safety and security guidelines while handling devices and tools.
- Proven experience as an IT Hardware Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, troubleshooting techniques, and repair procedures.
- Experience in handling different operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and basic networking.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage service requests.
- Willingness to travel to client locations for on-site repairs.
- Valid driving license is mandatory.
