We’re Hiring: IT Recruiter (Client Coordination)

Position Overview

The IT Recruiter (Client Coordination) role is a critical function within a recruitment or staffing organization, focused on managing end-to-end hiring processes while acting as a liaison between clients and the internal sourcing/recruitment teams. This professional is responsible for understanding client requirements, managing communication, coordinating interviews, and ensuring timely and successful placement of IT professionals across various roles.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT roles and technologies, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts and open positions simultaneously. This position requires a balance of technical recruitment know-how, account management, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the client and internal recruitment teams.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with hiring managers and HR partners on the client side.

  • Conduct regular client meetings (virtual or in-person) to understand hiring priorities, role specifications, and organizational culture.

  • Address client queries, manage expectations, and ensure satisfaction throughout the recruitment cycle.

2. Requirement Analysis

  • Gather, analyze, and clarify detailed job requirements from clients, including technical skills, years of experience, project expectations, and compensation range.

  • Translate job descriptions into actionable sourcing strategies for internal teams.

  • Advise clients on market trends, candidate availability, and realistic timelines for hiring.

3. Candidate Sourcing & Screening Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal recruiters or sourcing specialists to identify suitable candidates.

  • Screen candidates for technical and behavioral fit before sharing profiles with clients.

  • Ensure accurate documentation of candidate profiles, resumes, and screening notes.

  • Coordinate skill assessments or coding tests (if applicable).

4. Interview Management

  • Schedule and manage the entire interview process, from initial HR screening to final technical and leadership rounds.

  • Maintain clear communication between the client and candidates regarding interview updates, feedback, and decisions.

  • Track and manage interview outcomes, reschedules, and no-shows.

5. Offer Management and Onboarding Coordination

  • Facilitate salary negotiations between selected candidates and clients.

  • Generate offer letters or coordinate with the client’s HR team for the same.

  • Follow up with candidates until joining, ensuring all pre-onboarding documentation is completed.

  • Track joining dates, notice periods, and provide updates to clients proactively.

6. Reporting & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and job records using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) or CRM software.

  • Provide clients with weekly/monthly status reports on open roles, candidate pipeline, and closure rates.

  • Ensure all recruitment activities comply with client-specific processes and legal/regulatory standards.

7. Escalation Handling and Problem Solving

  • Manage and resolve client or candidate concerns, dropouts, or delays with professionalism and urgency.

  • Provide alternative solutions and backup profiles in case of declined offers or rejections.

  • Escalate critical issues to senior management as needed.
