Job Description

Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and target-driven IT Sales Executive to join our growing IT sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling IT products, software solutions, and services to prospective clients, building strong client relationships, and driving business growth.

This role requires a blend of sales acumen, technical knowledge, and relationship management skills. The IT Sales Executive will work closely with the marketing and technical teams to understand client requirements and provide tailored IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Client Acquisition

  • Identify and prospect potential clients for IT products, software, and services.

  • Conduct cold calls, emails, and client visits to generate leads and convert them into business opportunities.

  • Build strong client relationships and understand their technical requirements.

  • Present solutions, demonstrations, and proposals that align with client needs.

2. Product Knowledge & Technical Expertise

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of IT products, software solutions, cloud services, and IT infrastructure.

  • Keep updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

  • Collaborate with technical teams to customize solutions for clients.

  • Assist in pre-sales support, technical presentations, and solution demonstrations.

3. Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy

  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling IT solutions.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan campaigns and generate leads.

  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and forecast revenue potential accurately.

4. Market Research & Competitor Analysis

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.

  • Analyze competitor offerings, pricing, and sales strategies.

  • Provide insights to the management team to enhance product positioning and marketing strategies.

  • Identify industry segments and target markets for focused outreach.

5. Proposal & Contract Management

  • Prepare business proposals, quotations, and sales contracts for clients.

  • Present solutions clearly, highlighting benefits and ROI for the client.

  • Negotiate terms, pricing, and agreements to secure business deals.

  • Ensure timely submission of all sales documentation.

6. Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

  • Follow up regularly to address client queries and provide ongoing support.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain high service standards.

  • Collect client feedback and relay insights to internal teams for product and service improvement.

7. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain detailed records of client interactions, sales activities, and leads.

  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and revenue projections.

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate effectiveness and areas for improvement.

  • Ensure all documentation adheres to company policies and standards.
