Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Generation and Prospecting

Identify potential clients through research, networking, online platforms, cold calling, and lead generation tools.

Qualify leads based on their business needs, budget, and decision-making capacity.

Maintain a healthy pipeline of opportunities to meet sales targets.
2. Client Relationship Management

Initiate contact and build long-term relationships with prospective and existing clients.

Understand client needs and suggest appropriate IT products or services (software, hardware, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, etc.).

Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demos (virtually or on-site) to showcase solutions.
3. Solution Selling

Customize product/service pitches according to client-specific business challenges.

Act as a technical consultant to address client queries with support from the pre-sales or technical team when needed.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tech, product, support) to deliver tailored proposals.
4. Proposal and Negotiation

Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and RFP responses in coordination with the internal pricing and product team.

Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements in line with company policies and revenue goals.

Close sales deals through persuasive and value-driven selling techniques.
5. Reporting and Forecasting

Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).

Provide regular sales reports, revenue forecasts, and updates to sales leadership.

Analyze sales data to identify trends, risks, and improvement areas.
6. Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis

Stay updated with market trends, customer behavior, and competitor offerings.

Gather feedback from the market and relay valuable insights to the product development or marketing team.

Suggest strategies for pricing, promotion, and positioning based on real-time data.
7. Post-Sales Support

Coordinate with the onboarding and support teams to ensure smooth delivery and client satisfaction.

Address post-sales queries, billing issues, and service-related concerns promptly.

Encourage renewals, upsells, and referrals through trust-based client engagement.
