IT Software-Engineer Jobs - Mumbai - Client of Impact Solution
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead the database development and maintenance including bug fixes, performance enhancements, and production support.
- Participate in creating and indexing tables, writing queries, stored procedures, function, and triggers.
- Work with mobile and front-end engineers to define service APIs and JSON formatto support the web and mobile applications
- Consistently improve maintainability and stability of the codebase
Skills/Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years experience on a team working with a modern web stack(node.js, rails, django, etc).
- Backend developer with very strong experience developing APIs for mobile apps.
- Fluency with the building blocks of the web - HTTP, headers, cookies, caching, etc.
- Well-versed in creating database schemas and data models.
- Experience with designing a standalone API with many diverse consumers.
- Expert level proficiency in database preferably Postgresql
- Expert in writing queries, stored procedures, functions and triggers.
- Should have good understanding of generating, formatting and parsing JSONobjects.
- Strong knowledge in design patterns and architectural patterns
- Strong familiarity with client-server concepts.
- Clear communication skills and a willingness to speak up in process.
- Strong understanding of Agile practices like TDD, CI, Scrum
Bonus points if you have:
- worked on an API that’s consumed by an installed native app.
- worked in a functional programming language like Haskell, Erlang.
A Github, Quora, or StackOverflow account that demonstrates what you love worked with cloud services like AWS, etc
