Position Summary
We are looking for a proactive and tech-savvy IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and managing our company’s IT infrastructure, including software, hardware, and networks. You should be a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing innovative and reliable technology solutions.
In this role, you will support day-to-day IT operations, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the smooth running of systems and networks across the organization. You will work closely with team members from multiple departments to deliver timely IT support and participate in technology improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
System Maintenance & Support

Install, configure, and maintain software applications, operating systems, and hardware (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners).

Provide technical support to staff via remote tools, email, phone, and on-site assistance.

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.

Perform system upgrades, updates, and patch management to ensure optimal performance and security.
Network & Infrastructure Management

Monitor and manage LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Ensure reliable internet connectivity, VPN access, and secure remote access for staff.

Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.

Coordinate with internet service providers and third-party vendors for issue resolution.
Security & Data Protection

Ensure the security of IT infrastructure by implementing antivirus, firewalls, and data protection tools.

Monitor for potential cyber threats or breaches and respond with appropriate mitigation strategies.

Support backup and disaster recovery plans and procedures.
User Management & Access Control

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control in Active Directory or other identity systems.

Set up email accounts, shared drives, and group policies.

Enforce IT usage policies and educate employees on IT best practices.
IT Asset Management

Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT hardware, software licenses, and network components.

Track asset allocation and oversee the procurement of new devices and accessories.
Documentation & Reporting

Maintain documentation for systems, networks, configurations, and standard procedures.

Generate regular reports on system performance, helpdesk activity, and incident logs.

Contribute to internal IT knowledge bases and FAQs for end-users.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience as an IT Technician, IT Support Specialist, or System Administrator.

Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common enterprise applications.

Strong knowledge of networking concepts, TCP/IP, routers, switches, and firewalls.

Experience with system security practices, antivirus tools, and backup systems.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or AWS).

Good troubleshooting skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
