Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Manage all IT assets for Investec India
2. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets for the firm
3. Work on the configuration and management of equipment like desktop, laptop, PCs, smartphone, turrets, and printers
4. Deploy patches with the co-ordination of the application team
5. Work on the invoicing and follow-up with the accounts team for payments
6. Verify and maintain call recordings (Redbox)
7. Coordinate with the UK IT desktop support team for escalation and resolution of issues by raising tickets
8. Coordinate the setup of video conference bridges for the end-users/clients
9. Keep systems up-to-date at the DR/BCP site
10. Provide desktop, hardware, network, and telecom support
11. Work on system monitoring whilst verifying and reviewing all hardware, systems, and key processes
12. Investigate and troubleshoot all issues related to IT infrastructure for internal teams or clients using telephone/emails
13. Perform SOD-EOD activities to ensure smooth start-up for the trading system when needed
14. Update exchange terminals ('Neat & Neat Plus')
15. Install new servers or rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements of the company/client
16. Participate in IT projects as per requirements
17. Provide 1st level support to various applications
