Job Description

IT Service Desk Executive / IT Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an IT Service Desk professional to provide technical support and assistance to end users. The candidate will be responsible for handling IT-related issues, troubleshooting hardware/software problems, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 1 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Respond to user queries through calls, emails, and ticketing tools.

  • Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and basic network connectivity issues.

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.

  • Create, track, and resolve incident/service tickets within SLA timelines.

  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support teams.

  • Support user account management activities such as password resets and access requests.

  • Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.

  • Assist users with VPN, Outlook, MS Office, and remote access issues.

  • Ensure timely communication and follow-up with end users.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, Outlook, and basic networking.

  • Understanding of ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.

  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory and remote desktop support.

  • Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work in rotational shifts if required.
