Engineer

India/Gurgaon - Services Global Technical Service Dept

Position responsibilities

1. Responsible for Installation & Commissioning, testing, troubleshooting and handover of Huawei Routers & switches

2. Handling the integration IP Network with access, provisioning, operations & management networks.

3. Provide support in defining and implementing network solutions for improvements of network.

4. Provide support in troubleshooting and identify network faults and take appropriate remedial actions

Position Requirements

Business Skills Requirements:

1. Good experience in installation, commissioning of Data com products.

2. Good experience in integration of IP products with relevant infrastructure and access, provisioning.

3. PAT experience of new Nodes in IP network and handover.

4. Daily maintenance including routine operations & management experience of the related Data com elements.

5. Ability to resolve network outages with minimal disruption of service. Recommend and perform remedial actions to eliminate similar future troubles.

Professional Knowledge Requirement:

1. Deep understanding of protocols like TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, IPSec, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, RIP. Routers, Switches, Firewall, NAT, PAT, Multicasting, MPLS-TE, VPLS, QOS, MBGP, VPN, PWE etc.

2. Candidate is required to satisfy item 1-6. And experience in item 7-9 is added advantage.

Other Requirements: Candidate should be willing to travel overseas for Global project support for at least 50%-60% in a year.
