Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for motivated and disciplined ITI Apprentice Trainees to join our team under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) or National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS). This is an excellent opportunity for fresh ITI graduates to gain hands-on industrial training, practical exposure to machinery, and learn processes across departments such as production, assembly, maintenance, quality control, tool room, and operations.
As an ITI Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of senior technicians and engineers while building essential skills that enhance your employability in the manufacturing and engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support & Machine Operation
-
Assist in operating machinery such as CNC, VMC, lathe, milling, grinding, or injection molding machines (based on department).

Learn and support assembly, wiring, or fabrication tasks in the production line.

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) during operations.
2. Preventive Maintenance
-
Support maintenance technicians in performing regular checks on machines, motors, pumps, and electrical systems.

Help with lubricating, replacing parts, and recording maintenance logs.

Understand basic troubleshooting techniques.
3. Quality Checks
-
Perform basic inspection of finished components using vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Learn quality standards and assist the QC department in documentation and defect detection.

Maintain basic cleanliness and 5S around the inspection area.
4. Tool Room / Assembly Area
-
Support toolmakers or fitters in tool setting, sharpening, or repair work.

Help assemble mechanical or electrical components based on blueprints or supervisor instructions.
5. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily logs of work done and learn how to fill job cards, checklists, or batch reports.

Update supervisors about machine issues, part shortages, or safety hazards.
6. Health & Safety
-
Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including the use of PPE like helmets, gloves, and safety shoes.

Understand emergency protocols and help maintain a clean and organized shop floor.
7. Learning & Skill Development
-
Attend training sessions and technical workshops as scheduled by the company.

Learn teamwork, communication, and industrial discipline required in a professional environment.

Complete all assignments as part of the apprenticeship evaluation.
