Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and reliable ITI Fitter to join our mechanical or production team. The Fitter will be responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing machinery and mechanical systems in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have completed ITI (Fitter Trade) and have hands-on experience in mechanical fitting and maintenance tasks in a factory or industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Mechanical Assembly & Installation:

Assemble and fit components according to engineering drawings and blueprints.

Install mechanical systems, machines, and equipment at the production or workshop site.

Align and position parts accurately using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices.
2. Maintenance & Repair:

Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.

Detect and troubleshoot mechanical faults and perform necessary repairs or part replacements.

Ensure smooth functioning of equipment and minimize downtime.
3. Tool & Equipment Handling:

Operate tools like grinders, drill machines, hammers, files, and torque wrenches safely.

Ensure proper use, cleaning, and storage of tools and maintenance equipment.
4. Safety & Compliance:

Follow safety procedures and use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required.

Adhere to company safety guidelines and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Report any hazardous conditions or unsafe practices immediately to the supervisor.
5. Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain records of maintenance work, repairs, and replacements.

Report issues or suggestions to the maintenance head or engineer in charge.

Assist in maintaining stock levels of tools and spare parts.
