Job Description
Age: 18 to 50 years
Qualification: Any qualification related to fitter
Apprenticeship is provided for ITI persons
Benefits: Food Subsidary
NET SALARY: 14,000 – 30,000
Work Location: Bolaram, Hyderabad, Telangana
Key Responsibilities:
1. Installation and Assembly:
-
Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions.

Assemble mechanical components and structures using hand tools and power tools.
-
Install machines and mechanical systems on the shop floor or at the client’s site.
-
Align and position parts for accurate fit and functionality.
2. Maintenance and Repair:
-
Conduct regular inspections to identify issues or wear and tear in machinery.
-
Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment.
-
Dismantle and repair defective machines or mechanical parts.
-
Replace worn-out parts, lubricate moving components, and test functionality after repairs.
3. Fitting Operations:
-
Perform operations such as drilling, reaming, tapping, filing, and grinding to shape parts.

Operate and maintain machines like lathe, milling, and grinding machines if required.

Use precision measuring tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check tolerances.
-
Fit and assemble metal parts to close tolerances for mechanical systems.
4. Safety and Quality Control:

Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Ensure that all tasks are performed as per industry and company standards.

Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the work area.

Report any hazards or incidents to supervisors immediately.
5. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain daily records of maintenance, repairs, and production activities.

Prepare basic reports on work done and parts used.

Communicate effectively with the team and supervisors regarding any issues or requirements.
6. Collaboration and Support:
-
Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to complete tasks.

Assist in installing new production lines or upgrading existing systems.
-
Provide support during breakdowns to minimize downtime.
-
Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

ITI Certificate in Fitter trade from a recognized Industrial Training Institute.

Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment, tools, and fitting procedures.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.

Familiarity with safety standards and preventive maintenance.

Manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
-
Basic understanding of workshop mathematics and measurement techniques.
-
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to different work environments.
