Overview

The candidate will be responsible for application development to deliver key deliverables.
  • Reviews of functional specifications
  • Produces technical design, translates requirements into application modules
  • Provides design recommendations, writing code and integrating programs
  • Producing unit tests and executing the unit testing
  • Support of system testing and production implementation
  • Application is designed, coded and tested to specified standards
  • Utilizing and contributing to application development best practices
  • Project deliverables that meet audit/control requirements as well as user base
  • Manages day-to-day individual workload, identifies / mitigates project risks
  • Promotes teamwork in problem resolution
Required Candidate Profile
  • 5-7 years of development experience; Java and Spring JDBC, Web Service development, JMS, Spring MVC (MOST IMPORTANT REQ.)
  • J2EE - JSP, Servlets Expertise in new (and old) software technologies, including distributed caching, Tomcat, messaging platforms (MQ, webMethods),
  • Oracle DB, continuous integration technologies (i.e. Maven, Hudson, Sonar).
  • Atleast 2-3 years experience in Dojo, Jquery, AJAX, or other rich UI based frameworks
  • Broad knowledge of data exchange formats.
  • Formats must include but not limited to XML, JSON.
  • Experience developing rich UI web based user interfaces, including experience writing object oriented JavaScript
