About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer (3–5 years) to join our team for a 6-month fixed-term engagement. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices, and working knowledge of Azure DevOps. Experience with Apache CouchDB is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications with clean, scalable code.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise-level systems.
Work on Spring Boot modules and ensure high performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement analysis, development, and deployment.
Implement and maintain data storage integrations using Apache CouchDB.
Perform debugging, code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.
Prepare technical documentation and support production activities as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

3–5 years of hands-on experience in Core Java and Spring Boot.
Strong experience in RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
Basic to intermediate understanding of Azure DevOps (pipelines, repos, build & release).
Experience with Apache CouchDB is Mandatory
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
