Looking for a Java developer responsible for building Java applications. This includes anything between complex groups of back-end services and their client-end (desktop and mobile) counterparts. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.

• Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
• Contribute to all phases of the development life cycle. Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code to help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
• Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
• Required Skills
• 4 Year IT College Degree/Masters preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 2 - 5 Years of experience in Software Development using java.
• Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture/Webservices.
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful.
• Experience in Spring Framework and familiarity with the modules of web, security, data, and rest.
• Should have an experience with Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM Technologies (Hibernate-JPA).
• Should have an experience with application deployment in multiple web/application servers.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development should have experience in unit testing frameworks such as junit. etc
• High level understanding of the open-source libraries/packages.
• Familiarity with build tools such as Maven.
• Need to be an excellent team worker with good communication skills.
• Should be a self-driven individual and be able to independently handle the assignments.
• Provide estimates during the development of project tasks and able to write the documents for task plans and designs.
• Proven debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• MUST be passionate about technology, learning and problem-solving.
