Job Overview

We are looking for a Developer to join the ISS Data Architecture Development team who will be focused on building out the automation framework of our next generation Data Platform. This person will need to be self-motivated, a quick learner and be able to build out highly scalable, available and well-engineered applications and processes.

Qualifications

Bachelorâs Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
3-5 years of real industry experience in Java and Python
Expert level in Core Java and OOP concepts
Expert level in Python concepts of network programming, multithreaded programming, and database programming.
Good knowledge of Design Patterns, Algorithms, and Data-Types and open-source libraries
Strong analytical and reasoning skills
Strong communication skills
Experience with Agile development processes
Knowledge of any version control and build tool
Knowledge of any webserver

Nice To Haves

Linux scripting
Familiarity with docker
Beginner to Intermediate level with REST APIs
Beginner to Intermediate level with Spring
Beginner to Intermediate level with pandas
Experience of working with regular expressions
Experience with web scraping
Familiarity with Text Extraction using Regex and NLP.
Beginner to Intermediate level with UI development and JS frameworks like Angular
Beginner to Intermediate level with SQL programming in SQL Server or Oracle
