Job Description

JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER (US SHIFT)

Ahmedabad | Full Time

Key Responsibility :

Develop new user-facing features, build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Enhancing performance of the main front-end website
Develop specifications and designs for complex applications or modifying/maintaining complex existing applications
Perform code analysis, requirements analysis, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis and software reliability analysis
Collaborating with front-end and back-end web developers.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in software development and experience with developing against 3rd party APIs
Strong experience of JavaScript, features, utility functions of jQuery and custom jQuery plugins
Mastery of at least one modern front-end framework, such as React.js, Node.js or AngularJS
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
Experience in front-end tools (e.g. Grunt and Gulp JS.)
Sound understanding of web markup, such as HTML5
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}
Experience with dependency management tools (NPM, Browserify, RequireJS, etc).
Developer level understanding of PMS tools - JIRA, BaseCamp, Proofhub or any.
