Job Description

*Jewellery CAD Designer*

We are seeking a talented and experienced Jewellery CAD Designer to join our team at Megha, a leading jewellery design firm located in Mumbai. As a Jewellery CAD Designer, you will be joining our core designing team for creating innovative and visually stunning jewellery designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your designs will be used to produce high-quality, intricate pieces for our clients.

*Roles and Responsibilities*

- Create original jewellery designs using CAD software such as Rhinoceros, JewelCAD, or Matrix

- Develop detailed 3D models and renderings of jewellery pieces, including rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets

- Work closely with the design team to interpret client briefs and translate them into digital designs

- Modify and refine designs based on feedback from the design team and clients

- Ensure that designs adhere to industry standards and best practices for jewellery manufacturing

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and technologies in jewellery design and CAD

- Collaborate with the production team to ensure that designs are feasible and can be successfully manufactured

- Maintain a portfolio of your work and contribute to the company's design library

*Qualifications and Skills*

- Bachelor's degree in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is preferable

- Minimum 3 years of experience in jewellery design, with a strong portfolio of CAD-generated designs

- Proficiency in using CAD software such as Rhinoceros, JewelCAD, or Matrix

- Excellent understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes and materials

- Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills

- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

- Knowledge of rendering techniques and software such as V-Ray or Corona, slicing softwares such as CHITUBOX
