Job Summary:
A Jewelry Sales Executive is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in a retail jewelry environment. They assist customers in selecting jewelry items such as rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and watches by understanding their needs, explaining product features, and offering expert advice. The role also includes maintaining store displays, managing inventory, processing transactions, and achieving sales targets.
Jewelry Sales Executives represent the brand’s image and values, often catering to customers during special occasions like weddings, anniversaries, and festivals. Therefore, a professional appearance, excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and a customer-first attitude are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Engagement:

Greet customers warmly and build rapport to make them feel comfortable.

Understand customer needs, preferences, and budget to suggest suitable jewelry options.

Guide customers through the purchasing process with patience and professionalism.

Handle customer queries regarding pricing, metal purity, gemstones, making charges, and after-sales service.
2. Product Knowledge:

Develop in-depth knowledge of different types of jewelry (gold, silver, platinum, diamonds, precious stones, etc.).

Understand certifications (e.g., BIS Hallmark, IGI, GIA) and explain their significance to customers.

Stay updated on current jewelry trends, designs, and seasonal collections.
3. Sales & Upselling:

Achieve individual and store sales targets by effectively presenting and promoting jewelry products.

Upsell and cross-sell additional items such as jewelry care products, warranties, or matching accessories.

Follow up with clients to encourage repeat business or notify them of new arrivals and promotions.
4. Visual Merchandising:

Ensure that jewelry displays are neat, attractive, and aligned with brand standards.

Assist in setting up product showcases based on themes, festivals, or marketing campaigns.

Rotate stock regularly to feature new designs and ensure older stock is still presented attractively.
5. Inventory Management:

Assist in receiving new stock, tagging items, and arranging them in the display counters.

Conduct regular stock counts and report any discrepancies to the store manager.

Monitor the condition of jewelry and request polishing or repairs if needed.
6. Transaction Handling:

Prepare accurate bills and invoices using POS systems.

Handle payment processing via cash, cards, digital wallets, or EMI plans.

Ensure all necessary documentation is completed for purchases, especially for high-value items.
7. Customer Relationship Management:

Maintain a customer database with personal preferences, anniversaries, and purchase history.

Provide after-sales service, such as resizing, cleaning, or exchanging items as per company policy.

Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when required.
8. Team Collaboration:
