Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) invites application for the position Senior Resident
No of Post: 121
Pay Scale: Basic Pay Rs.67,700 (Level 11, Cell1) (Revised) and usual allowances as applicable (as admissible at Puducherry / Karaikal) per month in the first year (Total approximately Rs.1,10,000).
Essential Qualifications:
a) Medical Departments: An NMC/MCI-recognized postgraduate medical degree of MD/MS/DNB in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
b) Paediatrics / Neonatology Department Candidate who completed MD/DNB in the discipline of Paediatrics, he/she can apply any one of the departments i.e either Paediatrics / Neonatology.
c) Dental Department: A DCI recognized postgraduate dental degree from University/Institute are required, viz.
(i) MDS (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) under EWS category post (existing vacant).
(ii) MDS (Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics) under UR category post (which will fall vacant between 01-09-2021 to 31-12-2021)
Age Limit: Not exceeding 45 years as on 31-08-2021. Relaxable for SC & ST candidates up to five years, and for OBC candidates up to three years. PWD candidates are eligible for further age relaxation up to 10 years (i.e. 13 years for OBC and 15 years for SC/ST), if the post is reserved for particular category.
Application Fees: General (UR) / EWS Rs.1,500, OBC Rs.1,500, SC/ST Rs.1,200 (Transaction Charges as applicable), PwD Exempted from Application Fees
