Auxiliary Nurse Midwife Job vacancies in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) on contract basis
No. of Posts : 4 (3-UR, 1-OBC)
Qualification : a) A pass in SSLC/Matriculation or its equivalent. b) Diploma in Auxiliary Nurse Midwife or its equivalent granted by the Board of Medical Education, recognized by the Government. Selection will be made of the persons possessing knowledge of regional language of Tamil
Desirable : Working experience in project work in Rural/Urban Areas related to Preventive and Social Medicine.
Department : Preventive and Social Medicine
Scale of Pay : Pay Band-1 Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs.2400
Age Limit : Between 18 – 32 years as on 24.08.2016

About Company
JIPMER traces its origin to 1823 when a medical school called "Ecole de Medicine de Pondichery" was established by French government. In November 1956 the Government of India took over the medical college in the wake of the ‘de facto’ transfer of Pondicherry. The college was upgraded as a Regional Centre and named as Jawaharlal Institute of Post-graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) on 13th July 1964.
