Project Associate
Applications are invited for the following purely temporary post in the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) project entitled “Assessing the Calcium-binding affinity of Calcium-binding proteins with state-of-the-art computational techniques: Towards developing a model for Calcium-binding” at the School of Computational & Integrative Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Essential Qualifications:-
The candidate should have an M.Sc. in Chemistry/Physics/Computational biology/computational and integrative sciences, or in related disciplines. At least one publication in a refereed journal.
Desirable Qualifications:-
Demonstrable experience in using molecular dynamics (MD) simulation for complex biological problems (in terms of, at least, one research publication). Knowledge of one programming language. Familiarity with modern tools of MD data analysis. Good knowledge of statistical mechanics.
